One-to-one program · Returning to Meaning
Your life works, but it no longer feels like yours.
There isn’t always a problem you can point to. Sometimes everything looks fine and something has still stopped meaning anything. You feel adrift, you don’t know which way to move, or a question comes up that you can no longer push away: “and all of this, what for?”.
Returning to Meaning is a space to stop, look at what has changed, and find your bearings again toward what matters to you.
6 sessions online · usually every 8–15 days · brief WhatsApp support between sessions · 360 €
When you can’t name what is missing.
You do what has to be done. You work, you take care of people, you answer, you make plans. From the outside, your life can look complete.
Inside, something has lost its color. What used to move you doesn’t move you the same way. A stage has ended, someone is no longer here, your children are starting to need you differently, or a role that filled much of your life has changed.
Maybe you don’t want to complain. You think you should be grateful for what you have, keep busy, exercise more, or wait for it to pass. But the question keeps showing up in the most ordinary moments: why do I feel like this? where am I going now? what is my place? what am I doing all this for?
You don’t need a tidy explanation or a motivational line. You need somewhere to take that question seriously.
A crisis of meaning does not define who you are
Emptiness, losing your direction, a crisis of meaning: those words describe an experience. They do not define who you are.
It can appear when an important source of meaning changes or disappears: a relationship, work, motherhood as you knew it, a project, a person, a role, or a way of picturing the future.
It can also appear when nothing on the outside seems to have changed and the life that used to feel like yours no longer says who you are.
The point is not to fill the emptiness with more activity or to make yourself appreciate what you have. It is to understand what is happening, what still matters, what new possibilities are here, and what answer you want to give to the life in front of you now.
The view I work from
We can’t always choose our circumstances. We can choose our response.
I work from logotherapy, the school of thought founded by Viktor Frankl. It starts from a deeply human idea: a person is oriented toward meaning and can discover it through what life gives her, what she gives back, and the stance she takes toward what she cannot change.
We can’t always choose our circumstances. We do keep a margin of freedom to take a position toward them and decide how to respond.
That does not mean denying pain, turning every loss into a lesson, or claiming that everything happens for a reason. Some things hurt, and that is that. My work is to walk with you from what you are living and feeling to understanding what is at stake, seeing the possibilities you have, and deciding how you want to answer what life has put in your hands.
Existential coaching and logotherapy online: the difference and the scope
You may have searched for “logotherapy online” or “existential coach” and landed here. It is worth saying what each one is, because they can mean very different things.
Logotherapy is a school of thought created by Viktor Frankl, built on a particular view of the human being and of the world. It understands a person as oriented toward meaning, and it holds that meaning is not invented: it is discovered in the world, in the values and the possibilities of meaning that each concrete situation offers.
Frankl was a doctor, a neurologist and a psychiatrist, and still logotherapy is not limited to the clinical field. He ran into questions that the medicine and the psychotherapy of his time could not answer well enough: what is the meaning of my life? why did this happen to me? what is worth it? what do I do with what I cannot change? These were not necessarily questions born of an illness or a disorder. They were deeply human questions, and they called for a philosophical approach as much as a medical or psychotherapeutic one.
Its view of the human being and its principles also apply in education, prevention, organizations and existential support. When logotherapy is used inside psychotherapy, that is the work of professionals licensed to practice psychotherapy. In other fields it is not necessarily the work of psychotherapists, because logotherapy is not a set of therapeutic techniques: it is a way of understanding the human being and the world, of taking a stance toward life, and of meeting another person, one human being to another.
What I offer is existential coaching. I am an existential coach trained in logotherapy and I work online from Frankl’s view of the person. I am not a psychotherapist. I do not diagnose, I do not treat mental health conditions, and I do not replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care.
What does that mean in practice? That we can look together at your emotions, your values, how you understand yourself and how you understand life, your freedom and your responsibility, your decisions, your relationships and the possibilities of meaning that appear in your life. And that if what you are going through needs another kind of care, I will say so clearly and point you toward the kind of support to look for.
If you were looking for logotherapy online as psychotherapeutic treatment, this is not the place, and I would rather you knew that now. If you were looking for logotherapy as existential support, a space to think about your life within this framework, find possibilities of meaning and decide how to respond to what you are living, then it is.
Returning to Meaning may be your path if…
- On the surface everything is fine, and you don’t recognize yourself in the life you are living.
- A loss or a change has transformed what used to guide you.
- Your children are growing up and motherhood is taking a different place in your life.
- You have left a job, a profession, a relationship or a stage, and you don’t know where to head now.
- You have more time or new options, and you don’t know what to do with them.
- You ask yourself what you are doing all this for and no answer moves you.
- You feel like you are running on autopilot.
- You don’t want to change everything on impulse. You want to understand before you decide.
You don’t have to hit bottom to look at your life. And you don’t have to know yet what you want to find.
If you would rather start on your own, the Compass of Meaning is a five-minute exercise, meant as orientation, to look at where you are living from right now.
How we work
Resetting the compass doesn’t mean knowing the whole road. It means finding a direction again.
We look at where you are
What has changed, what you have lost, what has been fading, and what questions belong to this stage. Without rushing an answer.
We name your sources of meaning
We look at which people, work, experiences, responsibilities and values have guided your life so far. Some of them are still here. Others may have changed shape.
We find possibilities
Not every circumstance can be changed. Even then there can be a possibility: an attitude, a way of relating, a small decision, or a direction you had not seen yet.
You choose a response and take it into your life
My work does not end when an idea appears. I walk with you as you turn it into a choice, an action or a new way of being there, and as you watch what happens when you start responding differently.
Returning to Meaning · format, price and terms
Returning to Meaning is six one-to-one sessions online, usually every 8–15 days. The framework and the format are the same as in Mothering with Meaning and Leading with Meaning. What changes is the starting point and the road each person needs.
Between sessions you have brief WhatsApp support for specific questions. If something needs time or depth, we work on it in session.
At the end we look together at the ground covered and at what you need from there. There is no automatic renewal and no promise to resolve a life in six conversations.
Includes: 6 one-to-one sessions online · brief WhatsApp support between sessions · questions, resources or practical suggestions adapted to your process · a closing session to integrate the road you have walked. Payment, changes and cancellation: as set out in the terms and conditions.

Book your clarity sessionA real case: when several sources of meaning were changing at once
Name changed to protect her identity.
Rosa came at a moment when several important parts of her life were changing at the same time: she had lost one of her parents, her teenage son was building an increasingly independent life, and she had stopped practicing her profession. She had more time, and no idea what to do with it or where to point her life.
From the first sessions she began to understand where her sadness and her disorientation came from: several sources of meaning had disappeared or were changing shape. Seeing it that way changed the way she lived it.
She started to find new possibilities that brought her joy, gave her something valuable and let her recognize herself in the person she was becoming. Little by little she got her calm and her bearings back, and found herself living with joy again in the middle of a life that keeps changing.
Every process is its own. This story is told with permission and does not describe a guaranteed outcome.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a serious problem to ask for support?
No. You don’t have to hit bottom to stop and ask about your life. The clarity session is there to hear what you are living and to see whether this kind of support fits you.
Is logotherapy religious?
It does not ask you to hold a religious belief. Logotherapy sees the spiritual dimension as what is specifically human: freedom, responsibility, values, conscience and an orientation toward meaning. The process respects each person’s beliefs, or the absence of them.
Are you going to tell me what to decide?
No. I can ask questions, offer a professional view and suggest a path. I am not going to decide for you or push you to change everything. The answer has to be yours.
Is this psychotherapy?
No. Returning to Meaning is existential coaching grounded in logotherapy. It can accompany questions of meaning, change, loss and human suffering, but it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If what you bring falls outside its scope, Alexandra will say so clearly and will recommend that you ask for a proper professional assessment.
How long does it take and how much does it cost?
The program is six sessions online, usually every 8–15 days, and it costs 360 €. It includes brief WhatsApp support between sessions.
Can I do this from another country?
Sessions are online, so you can. Before confirming the program we check time zone, availability and the terms that apply.
Is this a logotherapy session or an existential coaching program?
It is an existential coaching program grounded in logotherapy. Logotherapy does not belong only to psychotherapy: it has clinical and non-clinical applications. My work sits in the second group, specifically in existential support. I am not a psychotherapist, I do not diagnose and I do not treat mental health conditions.
The clarity session is not a therapy session either. It is thirty free minutes to meet each other, understand what you are living and see whether this kind of support fits you.
Next step
Start with the question, not with the commitment.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfect explanation. In the clarity session you can put into words what you are living and see whether Returning to Meaning is the right path for you.
