Let’s turn on the light that reveals meaning

Alexandra Páramo · Existential coach trained in logotherapy

Coach for moms: there is nothing wrong with you. You may be exhausted, you may be lost. They are not the same.

If you are trying to hold everything together, if you sometimes come undone with your kids and the guilt arrives right after, you probably do not need one more piece of parenting advice. You need room to understand what you are living through, get your clarity back and find where to start. I work with a method that adapts to you.

You might recognize yourself here

  • You live on alert

Even though from the outside you get to everything.
  • You come undone

And then you hold it against yourself.
  • The guilt arrives

Even for what was never in your hands.
  • You have lost your bearings

From holding everyone else up for so long.

Coaching for moms: support to understand before adding more advice.

Before we think about what to do with your kids, we start with you.

I help you understand what you are living through, including the moments when you come undone; to look at the guilt, the anger, the fear or the sadness and find what they may be showing you about what matters to you.

From there we can find how you want to respond: in your personal life, at work and in the relationship with your kids.

That is the method. The path is yours.

The method is the frame of the path; the path is unique to each person.

Where to start

Tell me what you are facing and find where to start.

Not every mom arrives looking for the same thing. Pick the sentence that sounds most like yours.

01 One-to-one program

“I come undone with my kids and then the guilt eats me alive”

You know how you would like to act. And still, some days you shout, you punish or you give in on the limits you set. Then comes the self-reproach.

Mothering with Meaning is a one-to-one program to understand what is happening, what matters to you and how you want to relate to yourself and to your kids.

02 One-to-one program

“On the outside I function. Inside, I have been on alert for months”

You work, you lead, you solve. Work takes up too much room and, when you get home, you feel you can no longer hold things the same way.

Leading with Meaning works on the relationship between work and life: the pressure, the results, the limits, the uncertainty and the meaning of what you do.

03 One-to-one program

“Everything in my life looks fine. But none of it tastes like anything”

There is no specific problem to point at, but the question keeps coming back: what is all of this for?

Returning to Meaning is room to stop, look at your life closely, adjust your inner compass and find your direction again toward what has meaning for you.

04 Group mentoring

“I need to walk this with other moms”

Some things land differently when another mom says “me too”.

RAÍCES, Mothers with Meaning is structured group mentoring to look at motherhood from another angle, work with a method and walk with company.

Sound familiar

Pressure does not hold you up, it weighs you down.

Going over the day in bed and keeping only the parts you think you got wrong. Losing your patience over something small and regretting it almost in the same breath. A head so full of pending things that there is no room left in it for you.

It is not always a problem of organization. Maybe you have spent too long trying to get to everything, pushing yourself to do more and do it better. And pushing harder does not always make it easier to carry the life you have.

If what weighs most is the guilt, you may not need to shake it off in a hurry. Guilt is not something you drop: you let it be there, you understand it and you move through it. It can show you what you value, what needs repairing and which new response you want to choose.

Who walks with you

I know this road, because I also had to walk my own.

I was an engineer. I had a career that worked and a life that looked complete. Losing my son’s father split it all in two.

Along the way, logotherapy, Viktor Frankl’s school of thought, gave me a question that changed how I stood in front of what had happened: I stopped asking why and started asking what for.

I could not choose what had happened, but I did have to decide what to do with what life had put in my hands. To build something of my own out of those same bricks: my life.

Today I work with moms in the middle of what none of us escapes by being human: suffering, guilt, loss, fear, uncertainty. I help them understand what they are living through and decide from what truly matters to them, not from what others expect of them and not from the pressure to do it all.

How we begin

This is how we begin.

I

You tell me

You tell me what you are living through, without preparing it. You do not need to have it in order or explain it well. The session is free and you leave with a possible direction, whether you continue or not.

II

I propose. You decide.

If we are a good fit, I suggest the support I think can help you and explain how we would work. You decide whether that path makes sense for you.

III

We walk it

The one-to-one programs are six online sessions, usually every 8–15 days, with occasional WhatsApp support in between. They have a beginning and an end: the point is that you can keep walking with your own resources, your own decisions and your own responsibility.

In a group

Would you rather share the road? RAÍCES, Mothers with Meaning.

RAÍCES brings a small group of moms into online mentoring with a structured path, materials and space to work together.

Sharing lets you recognize yourself in other experiences, hear other ways of looking at things and see that much of what you carry is not yours alone. For a mom raising her kids alone or with little support around her, that can matter a great deal.

Not ready to talk yet?

You can start at your own pace with free resources on mom guilt, emotional overwhelm, self-imposed pressure, meaning in life and everyday situations with your kids.

They are not there to hand you a universal answer. They are there to help you notice what you are living, look at it from somewhere else and start doing something different.

To read with your kids:“Ben y la tierra, la magia de sentir”

A book so that you and your child can learn together to recognize and talk about joy, sadness, fear and anger, to notice the thoughts that come with them and to find out what you can do with what you feel.

  • Main age range4–9 years
  • Length104 pages
  • IncludesStories, a guide for the adult and tools

Without making a feeling smaller than it is, and without turning it into a drama. With stories, questions and tools to work through together.

Your first step

You can keep enduring it. Or you can start to understand.

Enduring it is also a decision, and it has a cost: shouting you never wanted to do, guilt, and a version of yourself you barely recognize.

You can keep going like this. Or you can start doing something different now.

The alternative is not becoming someone else or getting everything right. It is understanding yourself, getting back some room to respond and deciding again from what truly matters to you.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What does a coach for moms do?

She does not tell you how to raise your kids and does not start from one recipe for everyone. She helps you notice and understand what you are living through, recognize what matters to you, see the possibilities in front of you and choose how you want to respond. Parenting strategies can come up, but the person comes first.

How do I know which program fits me?

Mothering with Meaning starts from motherhood and from the relationship with yourself or with your kids. Leading with Meaning starts from the relationship between work, life and motherhood. Returning to Meaning starts from feeling lost, from emptiness or from the question of what it is all for. RAÍCES offers a group path. If you still do not see it clearly, the clarity session exists exactly for that: to hear your situation and consider a possible starting point.

Are the sessions online?

Yes. Both the clarity session and the one-to-one programs take place online. If you are in another country or time zone, check availability and the applicable terms first.

Is this psychotherapy?

No. This is not psychotherapy. It does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions and does not replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care. If what you bring falls outside Alexandra’s scope, she will tell you clearly and will recommend that you seek an assessment from a health professional.
